We may take a little longer in getting this pup titled(hopefully) but when she does it, it will be a showing!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
When training tracking dogs i will use what ever it takes boxes, scent pads with a few drop of food ,it depends on the drive of the dog, and the handlers .As with some dogs and handlers it takes time other fly into it,i do not do the same with all dogs or handlers,and weather conditions play a big factor, of when we move from one stage to another .Peter

We finally got it right! He snuffled along this morning like a little piglet. Thank you especially Chuck and Lynn who reminded me the other day to stay positive and be patient-I needed so much to hear that. My frustration with the pup affected us in a negative fashion. bringing the fun back into it and letting him come along at his own pace was key, I think.
