It depends what your set up and lifestyle are and how you plan to house the dogs. Will and Vancamp give great advice. Plenty of people on this board have 10-15 dogs at their place I'm sure but they live in kennels or most do. I have adults here now, a new female just arrived on Friday and she is prego. Plus occasional outside dogs in for training and so there is always adjustments going on. Make a big effort to keep #1 dog number 1. My 7 year old male who is my buddy dog has gotten less attention as I have been bonding with the new bitch. He went from being real aggressive to be ing real sad now. So I try and give him extra time just with me. The female the totally indifferent but very tough in her own right and my male is a real tough dude. I think with time after the puppies are born and weaned they may develop a friendship. but if not you have to be prepared to keep dogs apart. Derek

I have two male GSD's both intact and one Siberian Husky/ Cocker Spaniel mix who is neutered, one male, the youngest is my Schutzhund dog, he is still a puppy almost 9 mos old and playful but he does dominate the mix, the other GSD is is 17 mos old and is very submissive with the other GSD, He is my pet, no drive what so ever, wont even chase the cat, he does dominate the mix partly because Charlie(the mix) is so submissiva and partly because Charlie is smaller, Apollo, wont let him even get his head up over his because Apollo is already bigger than he is, they all coexist peacefully and happyly play with each other, they share bones and everything, I just make sure to give them theyre things in the order that theyve determined
