Todd all your pups are spoken for right??
To me a good breeder already has an establised 'list' of where those dogs are going, based on temperment matching of course. Nope!!! Their not. You know why. Cuz stuff happens. You take deposits on a litter. You raise the litter. You socialize the litter. You test and evaluate the litter. You then decide a dog is not the right fit for the deposit. So you either send them the wrong dog(not gonna happen here) refund the deposit(usually not needed) or you WAIT until you have the right pup for the right owner.
I have 17 pups varying in ages right now. Am I worried. NO!!! I have 40 acres. 10 60 x 40 exercise yards. 5 30 x 40 puppy pens. 8 6 x 12 individual kennels. Also a puppy play yard with obstacles tunnels, mini a-frames, see-saws, tarps to walk over, welcome mats, tugs all over the place, mini-dog walks. I also have 2 full time kennel attendants whose only job is to play with puppies. Not to mention the several volunteers I use to come play with puppies.
If Ed and I are puppy mills, we are what all puppy mills should be graded against. Get out of your little town once in a while and see what else is out there.
Todd
It sure sounds like you got a "little bit" better setup than some of the outhouse operations I've seen.
Ed
Your owner testamonials speak for themselves.
Thanks, guys, for a couple of class acts.
God, where can I get a job like that! Puppy Player! I woudl have more fun playing with that stuff in the puppy play yard then the puppies!

I'd be glad to take some of the pressure off Lonny's ankles and offer the puppies mine.
Deanna, there really is no better time to be had then playing with puppies... thoes were the best few months of my life... I never bonded so close with anything in my life until I got my dog. Granted I did look like I ran through the prickle bushes every morning, heheheh... but the pain was worth it.

Yeah, but we know you OED, you would be on the slide all the time and the puppies would be riding along with you
Oh and Todd, I saw the CUTEST puppy toy on the working mal board this morning....
One of those mini bite suits on a barbie doll I haven't wanted a Barbie for years, but if they came out with a "bite suit barbie" I would have to get one!
