Norbo has been bred about 7 times in the last 12 months and not by the police. He was bred to by them about 2 years ago. Most of the studs the PS kennels use are not very well known at all.
Chris is correct. Many of these "Top Border Patrol Studs" that are seen all over the web are either Police/Border rejects or were used a few times and sold because of what they produced.
I have never seen the z PS kennel sell their best dogs, nor have I ever seen a great stud dog sold by a Czech kennel. Good ones yes, but not the best. They keep them, just like anybody else.
I have family all over the Czech republic and they always laugh at the websites here that promote their "Top Border Patrol" lines.
But, that doesn't mean we need to be nasty about it right Chris? Be nice to Sue. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
off topic!! Polish GSD's, never hear about them. Do the keep all for their own breeding programs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
My bad, the puppy, Rika z. Alpinedragon, is line bred on Chuna, Norbo is the daddy and Chuna is the maternal grandmother as well. The litter was bred in Czech, the mother is Andra; I will have to get back to you on the kennel name there. She was acquired from Alpine K-9 safety, Melody and Hans, in Wittman, AZ ( 54 miles NW of PHX.) John, the info was / is helpful. The reference to Westwood was informative, however, the breed survey stuff was illegible and from what I could tell, in a language other than English or German. Any more assitance would be greatly appreciated. What is the "A" or "B" designator before a dog's name on the pedigree mean? G.
