Hey Guys,
Zachery, the Congo son a guy at my club has is a Congo/Amalka son and I know exactly what you mean. That must be one good combo for Congo I'd say.
Derek, not to highjack the Congo post about Faro but I really think he is a hit or miss dog. I know of one guy who has a Faro son (not sure of the dam) but that dog is a nut. Not sure about his tracking but his OB and protection are crazy. I have also heard the bad about him as well, actually more bad than good. At this time I would have to say I'm not a huge fan of his. Of all the VDH studs I definitely like him the least.
One of the Czech dogs that I recommend is Cejlon z Hundorfu CS
SchHIII,DPOII,WPO,B (PSP-1), Certified Narcotics Canine, Active Police Service Dog
Bred to the right bitch, he throws little carbon copies of himself, from what I've seen. He's up there in years though, hopefully some of his up and coming offspring will take over.

Tom has produced some excellent dogs in numbers and alot of police dogs as well. I also have some Norbo Ben Ju semen reserved for myself that is breaking my back(and wallet). I personally like Pluto z PS, although he is not as sporty as alot of peole like-he is a harder dog like his father Chuligan with higher fight drives and more moderate prey drives. I have a 13 week old Pluto pup here at home that is the best pup I've ever seen..fearless, great drives, huge bone and feet and great head. Pluto, like Chuligan is a massive headed heavy boned He-dog for sure. I really like him alot for my type of dogs and the dark pigment and massive bone. Derek

Paula-the dogs I mentioned are in Europe or not available to outside breeding but if you like Norbo and want to spend the cash you can get frozen semen. If you want US dogs only send me a PM and I can refer you to a couple really really nice ones. Hurry some of these boys are getting up in age though. Also if you PM me let me know what you are looking to produce and the qualities you desire and I can narrow down the list. Derek
Since we are talking about some nice Czech dogs, who would be some of the females that some of you like to see in a pedigree? I have a female out of Ossi Antdagu. What are some of the others opinions on her?
Regards,
Brandon
Speaking of Czech dogs that are good producers, I had a conversation with Jiri Novotny a few weeks ago concerning the same subject. I asked him point blank which male and female dogs out of z PS kennel he felt were the best producers in his 25 years there. This was his reply:
"...Scott, the best producers in z PS kennel were unquestionably GRIM z PS and IWO v. Buschecke. The best females were the daughters of GRIM z PS..."
He didn't mention any other dogs (though we all know there are a number of other great producing Czech dogs.)

Scott-he told me basically the same thing about 5 months ago. We talked mostly about Grim and how even grand daughters of his and great grandaughters still produce those typical traits expected of Grim and many of them have his look also just like postage stamps. I pulled up a picture of Grim to show it to my wife and she "Wow thats nice when did you take that picture of HER" she thought it was a picture of a Grim Grandaughter we have.
