No that site is not a joke...I've known John for years and he was selling dogs for 10-12k back in the 80's that didn't even bite. I'm sure he has changed his ways and sells a better product now, but jeez thats alot of money. Sad thing is, he is a good salesman and he gets the money ...hell, I gave him a male rottie and he turned around and sold it for 3k i think it was. I don't mean this as a bash at all,and good for him if he can sell dogs for that money.

can you say 'ripped off'? i can and i wouldnt pay those prices for a protection dog, if i was a billionare, especially if it was from a site that doesnt say anything about the dogs themselves, hell i wouldnt pay half of that without more information and working the dog first.

WEll, first of all, carjackers DONT jack cars that contain a german shepherd or any large breed of dog...that would be like a robber robbing the police station...just not a smart thing to do . why would u pay that much money to have a dog to protect your car seems to me u buy a dog to protect your home when u are away not your car that is what insurance is for to protect your car..Second Jerry from New Yack Kity..i am sure that u get a big bonus when u tell people that u paid X number of dollars for your dog...like a real big ego trip...

Jerry, no doubt you would feel this strongly
after what your wife went through- that's just
too traumatizing to get over easily. My sympathy to her for having to deal with it. However, to jump down Will's throat seems a little over the top. I personally prefer for a poster to disagree with my opinion- how else do you learn, other than to question your beliefs and investigate other ideas? Having everyone agree is BORING and doesn't adhere to the definition of 'discussion'.

If the dog chews the idiot to shreds, you still have to answer to the authorities. You could well be facing a muzzle order, rendering the dog useless. There's always a lawyer lurking about for these type of cases.I don't want my dog to go berserk every time I stop for gas or use a drive-thru either. Maybe you think I'm niave, but seriously- most times just the sight of a large dog is enough to make a criminal think twice.
