Julie, I really feel for you. Maybe we should form a support group. I have to move back in with my parents temporarily, and guess where they offered to let me and my dog live....you guessed it, in the shed!!! Either there or in their unfinished basement, which is pretty creepy
Suddenly single has its cons!! Oh boy, count your blessings. The grass always looks greener on the other side. You don't even want to get me started on that
Todd, exactly how many dogs do you have? I've checked out your webpage before, and you have some stunning dogs!

What is it with parents offering to put you up in the shed anyway?
My parents are constantly trying to get me to move back to NC, last time my mom was here she said "well, you could live in dad's shed" cuz I am against moving in with them... don't get me wrong so far as shed's go it is pretty sweet(ac/cable/phone) but the idea of living in "the doghouse" is a little off if you ask me...

I could live in a cardboard box in the woods if I had my dogs with me. My wife could come in once a week and clean. . Only joking, will be married 35 yrs in Sept to the best thing that ever happened to me.

You guys are making me feel much better!!
I have to say that it's not that bad, the site shed is 30ft by 8ft and the only thing it does not have is my own bathroom, I get to keep my dogs and have less house work, and there is no polution up there so my sinus's are much better.
and the bonus is that i have met a nice guy where i am keeping my horses now and he is nice to talk to and have a drink with so i can escape the folks by just saying that im going to check the horses
I've lived out of home for almost 10 years so to be able to escape will be great!!!
I can sympathyse with anyone who has to move often, and my advise is that you should not EVER get into fish tanks - especially realy big ones!!!

well....
location: SW Louisiana
age: 29, closing in on 30 (but tell everyone I'm 23 with 6yrs experience)
dogs: Kora (3yrs almost 4), Femke (1yr), Kane (8mos), all SchH dogs; CC (daughter's Australian Shepherd, 8wks old) slated for agility and AKC "good doggie" trials; Jet (son's Black Lab/GSD mix, 12wks old) slated for tracking trials and my son wants to try to train him in SchH as well
experience: alternate decoy for small SchH/Ringsport group, trained a rescue GSD to be a bird/rabbit/squirrel dog when I was a kid and used to train Beagles to be rabbit & squirrel dogs with my dad & grandfather; extensive research on the GSD breed (long hours that my wife sometimes complains about)
....I'm a pisces, don't get along well with dumb people, tend to get called an a$$hole a lot, and like flipping VanCamp a lil doggie-poop every once in a while

That is funny Julie. I have wanted a salt water tank for a long time, and I am always afraid to do it, because as soon as I do...
You think renting with dogs is hard.. you should have seen me trying to rent with a snake...
