You guys should check out baydog.com
They usually have some good hunting terrier info.
In the classifieds I've seen Airdale's, Ratterdale, Border and APBT (and various mixes thereof) advertised for hunting.
If that was a redneck joke, you're in trouble, I hate rednecks. I'm a distinguished Oregonian, we drink $5 dollar cups of coffee, only throw back $12 6ers of micro-brew, and walk around in Berks or Docs, reading and chatting about the environment or other related issues of importance  . Then we get in our $40,000 SUVs and toddle off to the temperate rainforests to hunt our dogs and hug some trees.

It has been my personal experience that this isn't exactly true. The nice hard working terriers, bred that way not for showy nothing, are great with kids. My JRT is the only dog I have ever owned that I trust alone with my children, without question. She takes all kinds of abuse without a care in the world. Very hard little dog, and very family friendly little dog.
Ask those people that were killed in Mount St. Helens how much of a threat they feel to the enviornment. lol
No seriously though, I think enviornment and conservation issues are important.
On the JRT, for awhile I thought this was a Jack Russell, since I haven't seen one, has anyone got a link? I'd love to see a visual of these little predators. lol

I've never seen you, but Berks and docks ain't a part of my visual. Tree hugging, Yea right! maybe if your trying to move one out of the way for a new kennel run. That I can see.
