I have to agree with Matt. I have lived here for 6 months and I have not seen it served or seen the dogs tortured. Dog is expensive (so I'm told) and you don't have to worry about accidentally eating it, thinking it was chicken. The country and people here are really nice. I enjoy it! The only thing that I HATE about S. Korea, is that I don't have my wife and two kids with me. Other than that, I am happy to be able to experience a new and different culture that most people that stay in the states will never get to experience.

This on-the-scene info demonstarting that the occurence is very rare is extremely welcome.

I have a Korean in-law who misses her country a lot, so I do get to hear much about the great stuff too.

Thanks for reminding us that every culture has wonderful as well as awful..........just like our own.
