Thanks, I'll try that out. The dog was getting better and I started to slack off and now I am starting to lose control. It is hard to be consistent!! I find myself missing opportunities where I should have corrected the dog because I am also distracted.
Example, breaking a down and barking at the pizza guy. I am so embarased by his behavior that I hurry up and pay the pizza guy to get him out of their quickly when I should have stopped and corrected his behavior.

This is just a suguestion, and it takes a lot of energy from you. But it has always worked well for me.
When the dog pulls toward a person or dog or what ever I will call the dogs name once then run backwards or in a different direction. The dog must follow soon I have the attention of the dog the pulling stops.
The dog quickly learns it is not much fun to pull and lung at things you s/his I don't want him/her too.
