Thanks to all the "creative solutions" between the posts and the pm's, today at 0600 hours, after shoveling, chipping ice and a little help from my daughter's heavy duty blow dryer, "Operation Doodie" commenced. I am happy to report MISSION SUCCESS.....many times I'm not sure but Mr. Buddy appears to be several pounds lighter after 2 days
Thanks
And yes my neighbors think I'm one crazy a** pit bull owner.

Looks like they come in matching red....yeeee haaaaa
OK, they are pretty funny-looking ---- BUT, my granddogs in the Massachusetts Berkshires wear them on the heavily-salted dirt roads, and they actually do keep them on (first ones ever!). They have Velcro fasteners around the ankles.
My daughter got them after Milo sat down on the unsalted median halfway across, in apparent protest, when they were out right after the salt machine went by.
Val,
I feel for you!
When I lived in Wisconsin, my poor Corgi got the worst of it, she literally disappeared in the deep snow. I had to shovel a 3' x 3' patch so she could go potty.
But it's gotten down into the 50's here, and it rained yesterday, so I know what h*ll is......

Oh Will, that was cruel.....
Thwn I guess I shouldn`t mention that I haven`t seen frost at home for two years? And that it hit 70 today? Elvis holds it in the cold mornings and goes in the afternoons when it`s warmer.
He's cute, and I love the vest! If you get him the shoes you have to get a matching hat with it That would be adorable Maybe a scarf too, lol. I love dressed up dogs Nice pic.

I am really laughing at these posts! I live in Wisconsin and as we speak we are getting a very large snow storm. I personally love it but my Mikko will at times, go down the stairs and turn right around and come back up. Shoveling a path is someting I never thought of, so thanks!

Well we haven't had too much snow here yet. But last year I did have to shovel a path and a patch of lawn for Taz (RIP) to use...but that was more because his arthritis had gotten really bad and he had a very hard time getting his hind legs up to clear the snow and walk out. I figured it out after he started relieving himself right at the top of the stairs...and stepping in it while i was rushing to get to work on time. But after i shoveled him a path, he had no problems.
