Nice working dogs, but some of those Malinois have butt ugly heads. Have they ever made a malinois x possum? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I have seen some Gsd's with definate Mal like features on various websites.
The most common one I see is the “chest stripe”. Isn’t it possible that these are recessive traits going back to the start of the GSD? In looking at some of the stock dogs Max von Stephanitz used in creating the GSD...some of them look an awful lot like Mal’s
Well, when I let my trainer watch Ed's Basic DVD and I told her that Ed and this forum are mainly into GSD's and Mal's she looked puzzled, so I said 'Malinois' and she said 'Oh you mean 'Malamutes'' ha ha ha ha
