 Maybe they did do something wrong/different?

 .  New vet said he normally he leaves stitches in for 7 to 10 days but he looked at them and made an executive decision to take them out.  Once he did, you could see where the marks were from them  
 .  There is no way I would have missed that instruction.  I even asked them the next day, "When am I due back again?" and they told me, "July for vaccines"!!

 .  You're way is far more effective in  giving them what they really deserve though
