Steven, I've heard the term before... what does it mean exactly?
Sounds like Ms. Toni here is just looking for someone to sympathize with her and is finding out that we take the dog's side, not the owner's
Toni, you've been given all the advice you need (and then some!) to deal with your dog. If you want sympathy for your personal problems, find a support group or something.
People here have been very patient with you and are understandably frustrated with your constant excuses. Even though they were very blunt with you, at least they took the time to offer you valuable advice instead of just ignoring you.
I doubt that they'll humour you much longer. Take the advice, use it and post back with the results you get. If you make even the slightest effort with your dog, I'm sure we'd be willing to offer further constructive advice if you need it again.
Otherwise, go find yourself a pity group and stop taking up space here and wasting people's time and patience
Very familiar with the term...my philosophy is tolerance and testing first, up to 3-4 times with my own posts, not counting everyone else's posts, then drop.
just to put minds at ease i have trained bruno out of this annoying habit now, with a water bottle! simply really, and i got him a nylon chicken flavour bone,
i havent chained him up nor ever will do, i no i aint well liked here but to tell truth im not hear to make friends, i appologise is i seemed to make excuses and didnt bring myself accross well,
i do that alot, the situation at home is alot different to on the internet and there is no way in proving it.
i do the best for my dog as i can, thanks to your links especially sandy moore...... my dog is becoming perfect at obeying me and walking on the lead.
i want to give thanks but im standing by what i said in the past and everything i say is true and no whoever asked im no attention seeker! i needed a little guidence is all, i find it hard to understand some of your posts as i cant read well and i got defensive as you probably saw.
but anyway i wont keep you, thanks for your advice x
