Phew!
I was sickened by the prospect of that little guy out on his own.
Me Too! I was so happy to hear it all worked out. Richard, I was feeling so bad for you because I can only imagine how upset you must have been. My dog is 15 months now and I was thinking of how I would feel if she got away from me at 4.5 months (or any age!). Wow, glad to hear you got him back!
Wow. I'm flattered by all the replies. Thanks again for having us both in your thoughts. I'm sure that helped a lot.
Today the little guy was back to being himself. Woke me up at 5 AM to go outside but couldn't hold it, so I had to clean the elevator. He then slept until 8:30. I guess he hadn't been sleeping well the last few days because he always wakes up at 6:30 sharp.
After he had lunch, we went to the beach and he had lots of fun, as usual. After that I removed all the flyers I left cause I didn't want people thinking I stole my own dog. Now he's sleeping in his crate.
It's been a crazy last couple of days, but with a happy ending indeed. They say everything happens for a reason. I'm just happy to have him back.
Here are a couple of pictures I took today. I figured I at least owed that to you guys.
I remember starting a thread a while ago asking if the crate in the picture was too big for my pup to sleep in. Amazing how fast dogs grow! Check this out.
I remember that thread haha! WOW, it IS amazing how fast they grow! This thread reminded me of how important it is to keep your dog leashed til it's secure (I live on a very busy street). So glad you guys are reunited.
