The dog found an adopting home that has plenty of GSD experience (raised and bred GSD's in the past) and recently lost a dog to cancer, that had digestive problems just like this dog. Also they were not put off at all by his stand off behavior. They adopted the dog a month ago, and reported yesterday that the dog has settled nicely and acts like a "regular dog" with them in the house now. Thanks to all who sent a PM or posted info here. "In God we trust, all others are checked by the K-9 first"

I didn't realize how much until I took her to see her foster mom one day, just so she could see how well bindi was doing. Bindi instantly remembered her and her children and was so excited and happy. I didn't let her have contact with her foster mom for a long time ater that. It took Bindi a couple of months to bond with us, but she has and is doing great, it just takes patience, and love, and a consistent routine, and exercise. (I'd wait on any training) Sharon Empson
