Anne, Thanks for posting the videos.
I had gotten an email earlier today from one of the seminar participants complimenting this young dog from my breeding so it was great to see her working.
It was also good to see your little Rockit out there having fun.
Thank You!

I'd like to congratulate Scott Dunmore and the Canine College of Holbrook Mass. for getting and bringing Michael into the Northeast. And I NEED to some how thank them for the effort put forth in making it all come together and actually happening, many people must have been involved. Lastly but certainly not least, I want to thank Michael, who was willing to share more then I could ever hope to absorb in one day (and likely weeks or months to come). Between the efforts of the college and Michael, it all made for a very memorial day for me and in the long run for my dog............THANK YOU ALL!

You're welcome Cindy. I think I have another one from Sunday so stay tuned.
What I did not capture, unfortunately, was Sharon learning how to play tug with Danielle, while wearing huge black fireplace gloves that went halfway up her arms. It was quite a sight. But she is getting the hang of it, and Danielle has already got a pretty good out. That girl is a powerhouse!
And I second Randy's comment; I meant to say earlier, that Scott did a fantastic job of organizing (and REorganizing, after the June cancellation) this seminar. The facility and food were great and I definitely got a lot out of it, not to mention meeting some great people.

Anne,
Were you there on Friday? That little beauty looks familiar somehow.
Al, the markers are getting stupid on this end. Walking threw the front door tonight I noted I've started stretching out the marker word verbably, so it still comes altogether. Ugh, (head slap) this isn't rocket science!

Only Friday for me Anne, though I was tempted to score a hundred dollar tent somewhere and spend the weekend camped in the woods if need be, but alas, duty called on this end.
If we had crossed paths believe me you'd remember, I'm sure I would have won the door prize for most inept in the seminar.
Nice young Mal on Fri. though. Wish I had a picture of the dog and Michael teaching the out.....lol......flashes, like a trout on the end of the fly rod. You're probably very familiar with the feeling.

I wrote an email to the Anne Putegnat (the contact person for the Michael Ellis seminar in San Antonio next month).
She wrote back and told me that the seminar in November is directed towards preparing dogs for the Mondioring competition. So not for pet owners.
Sigh, guess I will have to wait for the next opportunity.

Randy, Everyone has to start somewhere....why would you be any different. Michael is a wonderful teacher, you are so lucky to be able to train with him! One day or three doesn't matter.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who attended; I had a really fun weekend of training and it was great to see so many nice dogs.
Sharon and Vin's young female from Cindy's breeding definitely sticks in the memory; that dog is smokin'.
Anne and Randy, thanks for the nice comments and I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. Hopefully Michael will be back in the spring. Anne, I like the video of Rockit; she's such a cutie! Drop me a line if you'd like to come down to do some training.

Just wanted to thank Scott for hosting a wonderful seminar with Michael Ellis ! My husband and I (& Danielle) totally loved it! It was our first time trying our dog at protection work and my god, was it awesome! Michael makes everything look so easy and watching him work with my dog at both protection and just playing tug with her was simply the best!! I'd like to thank everyone who attended as well because you were all so helpful and supportive to us. The food, the Sat. nite campfire , as well as the instruction were great! Thanks again Scott - we look forward to the next time!
