Probably, in small amounts. (A lot of chitin is used to make the supplement.)
Also, liquid forms have been shown to be more readily absorbed than tablets, capsules, or powder, and I'm going to guess that both powder and liquid supplements have it all over shells for utility.
I'm not a big fan of vitamin/mineral supplements in multi form. Also not a fan of proprietary formulas. I want to give specifically what I think is needed.
For example, there is no common modern diet for either humans or dogs that provides anything like the long-chain Omega 3s that a diet of hunted animals and range-fed slaughter animals provided 100 or 150 years ago.
I'm just saying that there are indeed a couple of things that are not really available in the diet, no matter how careful we are with the diet.
