I don't know exactly how qualified I am to post in this thread, but something came to mind, so here goes:
When I was going to school in Providence, RI (home of Dunkin D's) there was a mounted police unit that regularly patrolled the streets downtown. They were pretty cool - most all their horses were huge draft crosses. Now, I like doughnuts, and I love horses, so the best part about this story? There was one cop who always started his morning shift by riding his mount THROUGH the drive up window of a metro DD - his horse even got a doughnut!! er, pony power ring... whatever it was, it was brilliant. I miss that town...
I'm driving home from work tonight in Christmas rush hour traffic and then I hear police sirens start up. I'm looking all over for where the cop car is, then the traffic parts and I see him driving out from the Tim Hortons!
