Yes, two commercial foods. He just drank about 6 oz of pedialyte(I think he really likes it (haha), chased a cat across the neighbors yard and is whining for me to play with him. I think he's going to be fine.
But yeah Connie I hadn't thought about that as far as his gut healing and starting him off with something easy when his stomach starts feeling better.

GOOD FOR YOU, Ray!
Dehydration is a very bad thing.
I would fast him except for the fluids all day, and then tomorrow start very small (more frequent than usual, but small) soothing-gut food.
This would be cooked-to-a-mush liquidy white rice with bits of skinless white poultry. In fact, the first meal should be just the soupy overcooked rice. Watch for the resulting poop. Stick with it until you see good poop, and then add the skinless white poultry.
By about the third small meal, I would be slowly adding in live-culture plain (no sweetener or flavorings) yogurt to replenish what the antibiotic kills in the way of gut fauna. He's not on Doxy, right?

You could add a couple of tablespoons of plain canned pumpkin too, to the second soupy-rice meal. (Be sure it's not pumpkin pie filling. It will have just one ingredient: pumpkin.)
I'm not sure what Doxy is. It was a long stro.... name. The abreviation on the bottle is Smz/tmp 480 mg twice daily along with Sucralfate Tabs (which he said was like the doggy pepto bismol) twice daily as well.
I will do the gut-soothing foods as you say.
edit: stro....tro... something or another. Could not repeat the name of it for the life of me even after he repeated it to me.

No the antibiotic injection I think was something like reglan or something similar. And the other one seemed to be like twice or three times as long as "streptomycin".
edit: streptomycin is way to easy to say compared to the other one.
I would try the plain yogurt, plain kefir or pro-biotics as soon as possible as well in order to help balance the gut after both the upset and the antibiotics.
I also found information about reglan, im not sure if its an antibiotic or not. reglan
