Henry, I have a lot of respect for Flinks...it's well earned. I never heard of Jerone but the shape of his decoys are lacking. The pics do not exude an air of professionalism. If he's that good then he knows what I'm talking about...Just sayin
Hahahahaha,
Reminds me of a Runyon story, I think it was called "The Harvards and The Yales". Rah rah team!
Well Henry sometime back when this thread was still active I compared the two outlines of the different schools. What struck me was that your Alma mater had a very similar synopsis of courses and what stood out for me was that the much shorter time frame your mentor was (trying) to do it in. He's very very good, or something is missing. Me? I don't care I've got no dog in this fight. But if I were thinking about attending a school, I would wonder why one school thinks it takes 16 weeks for a program and the other thinks 8 or 10 weeks is enough for close to the same instruction.
Just a thought.
Kudos Henry, on the Flinks instruction. He's reguarded quite highly in these parts. I'm sure there's a few envious people here. I know I am.
Let's not bring where or what anyone is smelling into the conversation any more though, what ya say? We're all suppose to be adults here.
Randy
Ps.
I admit I don't really remember the exact course lenghts, but the difference was striking.

Edit reason: PS.
You seem to have a very closed mind mr Rambeau. Maybe ....... mod edit ......... and smell the roses!
No, I'm not closed minded there Henry, I'm just realistic - Those of us that work professionally with dogs all know of the high caliber graduates that the schools that I named produce.
But as far as graduates from your buddy's school...no one has heard of them, and that's telling. And I called a close of mine who was an officer in Queens for several years before he moved - he never heard of your friends school, period. Very telling.

Im sure the 2 schools you recommend are very professional but to state that there are only two schools to go to...well come on now.
Nope, I have *never* seen a graduate from any of the other schools that were of the standards of the two schools that I recommended. Why would I suggest that somebody pay good money to go to a "second-string" school?
And again, if the Anthony Jerome School of Dog Training lets its helpers do agitation in shorts ( and if I'm not mistaken, the man in the shorts is Mr. Jerome ) with no protective gear, then serious students need to look else where for a more professional level of training.
And by the way...Mr. Flinks stayed in my home for three weeks when myself and another forum member sponsored a seminar with him.
I would bet dollars to donuts that Mr. Fitzsimons is a friend of Mr. Jerones and Possibly Mr. Jerone asked him to come here and try to back up him school and philosophy ? Just a thought, since Mr. Jerone has not posted here in a months time and Mr. Fitzsimons only posted 2x's
This is just my little brain working here-just my general observation and thoughts. No harm intended, if either of them comes back.
