Will I know what you mean. When my wife and I went to Colorado a few years back we saw elk(14 of them) right outside the hotel lobby doors. It was truely amazing. I went again with the FIL elk hunting... The west is somewhere I do really think that I could live. I am used to the abundant amounts of snow that northern states get. Also used to the cold weather we get,it was 32 degrees today and was out in a long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt today It wouldn't be much for me to move! Now I have another good reason!
I will be going back in 2010 elk hunting again, I just love it there. Never been to Idaho though....maybe it is time for a trip.
