Thanks so much guys (Joyce, your words were just what I needed)... it means a tremendous lot to me to have such kind wishes, and I'll convey all of them to my neighbor - I think we're going to try to walk our beasts this afternoon and enjoy the simple pleasure of the spring sunshine.
Oh Natalya, I'm so sorry to hear the outcome of this. At the very least, the dog didn't suffer for long. Please give my heartfelt condolences to your neighbor.
