Anyone want to take a wager that Mr. Segal paid at least double for what those dogs were actually worth?
Happy New Year Will! I'd bet you a lunch on this that he didn't except that I don't know if we'll ever really know the price. The reason I say this is that the guy's web site has some dogs listed for as high as $65K! Segal wouldn't pay double that, would he?
I myself, could not believe what I saw, surely, he can do better than that. That was the lamest show I have ever seen with working dogs. I agree with everyone else here..totally laughable
I'm embarrassed for Mr. Segal, but the man should *know* better.
The fact that those "trainers" ( and I use that term lightly, believe me ) allowed that kind of crappy training to occur ( much less let it be put on TV ) says volumes about them....and none of it good.
As a famous fellow once said "There's a sucker born every minute", and this was a prime example of that theory in action.

Some of the videos are down right irresponsible. A doctor walking his two trained PPD's off-leash, in public, and then leaving them in a down on a busy sidewalk while he went into a store.

The only nice thing I have to say about Mr Segal is that when he came up for the last six memorial services he did not draw any attention to himself or his presence. The news also did their part by holding the story for weeks, doing a 30 second blurb about it and never talking about it again.
