Ok Michael, I'm going to try both your advice and Connie's today and see what happens. I'll give her a tiny bit of food before we go for our AM walk, and then a little more MM with her main breakfast.
I gave her 1 chicken neck and 2 oz. of ground beef around 7:30, and 2 more necks with about 3 oz. of boneless skinless thigh around 9:45.
Maybe she just needed a little snack to get her stomach juices going.
Completely unrelated: I got her an Egge toy and we played with it for about 25 minutes at the park today. That thing is awesome! She was so psyched about it that she made all these crazy hyena noises as she was trying to catch it. I think she would have chased it around all day if I let her.
