Our present boy dogs are named Negi (anime)
Drith (teen boy made it up and named him)
Wart (as in Arthur, King of the Britons....he is a #4 Poodle )
and Norbert- he is a Rhodesian Ridgeback....and we are Harry Potter fans. It means something that way.
Had a Bullmastiff named Basher- named by the breeder for being the puppy that slipped at birth being aspirated and slid into the wall.
My next dog will be another Bullmastiff named Rembrandt...aka Remi
Only dog with a true middle name....Rexford Frothingham Von Ooops- GSD X that didn't travel well.
Turned on the tv, realized I've been overlooking the only name for my canine guardian..... LJ.... short for Leroy Jethro. Anybody know my favorite TV show (and favorite tough, masculine hunk)? Not so much a masculine or tough name, but not as goofy as Harvey.
I almost pulled a Border Collie from our local shelter to foster a couple years ago. Her owner finally (after 2 weeks!!) showed up to claim her just before I picked her up. My brother was bound and determined that we were going to call her Ziva. I considered using the name for my newest dog, but went with Kenzi instead. A name which was already on my list before the spin off series (which is kind of blah, IMO)

My dog 'Garth's' registered name was "Starlight Garlic" , which was probably one of the shortest but funniest of my dog's names. "Murphy" is "Brick House Murphys the Law".
