I quit watching TV as well.
The whole family is much better for it, I think.
I finally broke down and watched Sons of Anarchy online because I loved the first season when it aired, and missed all but the season opener of season 2 when it originally ran.
It was rather pleasant to watch the entire series back-to-back online.
I suppose when Season Three begins in September, I'll watch along online.

It was a relief that Michael C Hall's cancer was caught early. I was wondering if he would be able to continue with the role.
Yeah, me too. I am so glad he seems to be doing really well and is in remission. That is one show that is so well written and acted.
I too am an adrenaline junky. I missed the last season of "24" so I will likely rent that for the summer.
I also love those shows on Animal Planet and Nat Geo
"I'm Alive" and "I shouldn't be Alive"
I love seeing how people who have encountered near death experiences with wildlife, and live to tell the story. Just amazing stories.
Lastly, I always get sucked into 'Band of Brothers' when it is on the History channel, that was one really great series.

Carrie from MythBusters was always worth checking in for, while talking about crushes.
I'm into Breaking Bad like I haven't been into a show... well, ever. I liked Sopranos, loved The Wire, but no TV drama has had me as interested as this. I'm a sucker for crime shows, though, and have more episodes of First 48 on my Tivo than anything.

I feel the same way about the gates! I never saw that sign about guns...that's great! I do like the sign "Donate Blood- Make my Mal Happy!"
I don't watch TV, honestly never heard of the above shows mentioned except for the crime shows, those interest me.

I've avoided putting "beware of dogs" sign on my property because of horror stories I've heard regarding insurance companies raising/canceling rates. Oops, getting off-topic. Back to your scheduled program.

Any of the criminal shows; NCIS (boyfriend is in love with Abby, Law and Order, CSI (but not the New York one). Any time I want a good mindless laugh, 2 1/2 Men is my go to show.

I have to say I wanted to do away with the TV but there were some decenting votes...like my dh essentially. He tends to watch a lot of bad scifi sort of movies late night....Anaconda....I barely watch what I love as I am a woose and need to eat and sleep besides working and the pets.
So we have DirectV and I watch with some regularity....
NCIS....new and reruns....Mark Harmon, obviously.
House
Bones(definitely David)I would watch Buffy but don't get that channel
Burn Notice
Fringe
In Plain Sight
Dirty Jobs
White Collar
Leverage
Mythbusters (they inspire my son...who at least has stopped blowing things up and is now getting As in RIT classes in High School.)
Used to watch CSI when it was good and had Billy Peterson.
Firefly...definitely fun
Stargate lost interest with so many offshoots. Sides, watched it for Richard Dean Anderson. (yes, watched McGyver too) Do have a Black Sumatran Short tailed Python named TealC

Check the Dog Bite Statutes for the state that you live in, they vary according to state. By posting a beware of dog sign in some areas, the court can say that you were stating your dog bites, and should he bite, you could/would be liable for damages. In Massachusetts, if someone enters your yard, provoked the injury from the dog, or knowingly takes the risk of being injured by ignoring your post,or
was trespassing
, unless the person was 7 yesrs old or younger, you are less likely to be sued!
Your Insurance company is a different matter, they also vary, day by day it seems, give them a call, block your #, your only inquiring about "new" insurance, do you understand Rita?
Sorry for the Commercial interruption!
