Thats like a bald guy with a comb-over. Sure it fools the chicks, but deep inside, the boys will still feel those insecurities that are only compounded with foofy-smelling baby wipes.
Maggie rolled in fox scat, ate at least 2 moose poops, and frolicked in a mud hole on our hike this weekend. Baby wipes would not have done the trick! But, I have to tell you she was actually fairly clean by the time we got home (thanks to at least one clean irrigation ditch). I would have hosed her down if I needed to.
ETA: this is the dog who wouldn't cross a creek a month or so ago...

Wow, sounds like she had a great time. I have this stuff at work that I'm pretty sure would make a warm dead skunk smell like sugar cookies. I'll see if I can get the brand name of it.
I just find it fascinating that water does wonders on a dog's coat. Seems like the dirt, mud is always on the outside and not underneath near the skin. Of course, I've always had dogs with an undercoat...but a good spray or sponging usually gets the gritty stuff.
ETA: granted, they smell like a wet dog for a time, but in the dry Colorado air that is not that long.
