Ok, My mom mentioned this. If the Furry Butt wanted to stay home and you were ok with that. My mom and dad for their 25th took a train that went through the rockies and it was absolutely amazing. I can't remember where she said it started BUT it does end in BC. Not to pricey and its just... WOW. Canada is wow.. hubby has a major thing of moving there but we will see if that ever happens.

You can always come to WI and crash at my place We can hook Winchester the Belgian up to a sleigh. Then you could round out your trip with deluxe accomodations at our fine hospital

Let's make it a group thing. I am sure he won't mind at all. We can rent a huge bus. I'll bring lasagna and extra toilet paper (no reflection on my lasagna, just thought it was the right thing to do when bringing a bus load of folks...) Randy can bring the wine, Dennis the beer.
