IN SE Minnesota, people go ape-shit during deer season. Normal people loose their minds about deer hunting.
It's against the law to let a dog to "run" deer -- I'm not sure about tracking a wounded deer.
I think it should be law that you need to find and dispatch anything you wound, any way that you can.
I live in a valley with water. Wounded ones stumble down here and die.
I wish you and Turbo were closer.
Awesome Michael and Turbo! I just read this whole thread just now.
I knew it wouldn't be long for Turbo to do his job!
Cloud 9 is a very good place to be Mike, so happy to hear Turbo was successful!
Cheers to you and Turbo!
It's so nice to hear all that, the hunting of foxes with horses and hounds here goes back centuries, I think it was Oscar Wilde who described it as the 'the indefensible in pursuit of the inedible' I understand the need for conservation, I just hate the idea of clueless yahoo's causing unneccesary pain to a living creature, I guess I am abit of a sap at heart!
So good to know you all have the integrity to preserve the dignity of the animals that are hunted, I have gun dogs and the thrill of watching them to their thing makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, nature at its best!

"A good dog can raise recovery rates by a mile. Some places in Europe require you to have a dog available to even be able to hunt in the first place. I don't think that is such a bad idea.
Me too, Michael ...
.... and I would be SO PROUD if I were you (or Turbo) today!!!!
