Good girl, Nico. I only banish Rip when I'm in there, it's a tiny kitchen.

Raw day 3! I never dreamed the transition would be this easy. (Jinx!). Talking sh*t has an entirely new meaning. I'd sent Mr. Wise a message concerned that there was no output since Saturday. That's resolved. Talk about easy clean up!
Rip was in a bad habit of wanting more food after a meal on kibble. I'd fill a treat dispenser for him with "extra" just to quiet him down. He has not asked for treats since his first raw meal. I find that telling.
Looks like he'll be ready for chicken leg quarters next week.

I had Meredith plug a USB cable into his butt and I fixed him over the Internet.

Sounds like Ripley can have some extra meat added to his meals now.
How much does he weigh? And how much are his meals right now?
If I remember correctly he is in that 40-50 lb. range.
You could probably start sneaking an ounce or so of meat in there. Just make additions small and gradual on the increases.
What do the rest of y'all think? Sometimes I can get way too conservative.

I don't think you can ever go wrong adding one more thing a little at a time - why rush it? After adding a few more things and you KNOW there are no issues, throw caution to the wind at that point.
Meredith, I'm just so happy for Ripley! And him not begging for more afterwards must mean he is getting much more satisfaction out of his new menu!

Fighting weight is 65 pounds, so I'll start with 1.2 lbs of food a day. Which protein should I try next?

I’m actually really conservative with the extra meat too. Lean burger works well with my boys but a lot of extra chicken tends to loosen them up quite a bit. They're all different of course.
And congratulations Meredith! It really is very easy and I’m sure you’ll notice a few changes as well as lack of wanting to eat in between meals.

How much were the meals?
I would stay with chicken for now. Maybe turkey.
By the sounds of it, though, I think Ripley will be eating any and everything in no time.

Meals have been about half a pound each, so he's underfed a little. I have a chicken for our dinner tomorrow. I'll butcher the majority for him, save myself a little. I've been less careful about trimming fat off the backs, too.
