Puddles is a great name. I like the idea of more whoosie names for powerful dogs.
Being that he’s from the “E” litter, Eric came to mind instantly. Or the Viking version, Erik, as in The Red or the German variation, Erich. Of course that would be totally confusing to Erika but Puddles could work when she’s present.
Noooooooooo! He's way too much dog to be stuck with "Puddles". Do something, Dennis.
YIKES!!! I agree! No Puddles, please!
Sorry you had such an adventure getting him home, Dennis. He looks like he's sold himself to Mrs. Jones pretty well!
Steve got the hard crate returned and you should be getting your stuff left in the soft-sided crate in the mail in the next day or two; I mailed it Friday.

Me too!
My last GSD was called "Babe." I found that to be a total gas, as she was a bad-ass Czech bitch that looked like the fearsome dog in Becky's signature pic.
My brother's dog is called "Jaeger" (Dutch: "hunter"). Before that he had a GSD named "Baron." He trains with dogs named "Sniper," "Ammo," etc. I have to suppress a giggle every time.
On a serious note--some experienced person in here (Connie Sutherland, perhaps? One of the Bettys?) said that she steers well clear of doing anything that could inspire negative emotions toward her dog. IMO that includes a reasonable name which does not conjure up images of tyrannical despots, Nazi war machines, organized crime, drugs, or deadly weapons. JMO though
Aw Dennis he is a pistol!!!! Keep the pics and updates coming!!! I have had my share of airline fiascos travelling with animals......which is why I only drive now...........I will not go thru the flying mess again! EVER!!!!!!!
