If pugs make you happy... I cring when I see a dog bred to extremes. Co worker lost a Pug to heat stress in his own backyard in the shade. Arent they outbreeding or crossing them now?
I have a pug neighbor 1 floor up and over. He watches Ripley eat his raw meals on the patio and whistles and screams and yodels the whole time. It's pretty darn funny.
Awww, poor puggy! He is just yelling "Yo! Dude! Can ya' toss me some of that over here?"
It seems like in my area, high volume breeders are crossing them with everything small to get that "designer dog." bleh. There are people proudly toting around their "poogles" and "pug russels" and "pugchi's" The list goes on and on.

some toy breeds are cool. Pomeranians come to mind, all the parts are proportional to the size and the few I've seen take to training well, I don't know how they would fair in the back yard for any lenght of time
My AKC club has some really good OB and agility poms. They're so dang cute while they work.
That pom clip was posted on FB by a friend of mine who does drafting with her Berners. I offered to buy her lunch if she'd let me hook up the Rip. I hope to try it soon.
