If I was at a loss of words last night, I'm pretty much fried this AM. Obviously, I know people like this exist but to have actaully been subjected to the games and lies is pretty mind-blowing... especially while trying to HELP someone for crying out loud!!!
Perhaps, just perhaps, all the horrible dog stories are as true as the "no video" and "no e-collar" stories and this individual, as several folks have said, was simply in need of some serious attention. (Let me enjoy my fantasy world for at least a brief moment... I'd much rather Maria be the only one in need of serious help in this situation).
Beautiful dog Maria. Seemingly very comfortable having her toy/carrot taken away from her. Of course I'm sure that was only after all the training/rehab you devoted to her... in between the wrestling her to the ground and keeping her locked in her kennel because you are so afraid of her.
It is going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood today. Sun is shining... tulips are blooming and baby chicks are peeping in the coop. Friends, lets enjoy our dogs today.

Be glad you live in VA then. It was snowing here last night. Wasn't for long and nothing stuck, but still!! Our poor daffodils look so cold!!
So today I get to bundle up in my winter gear again to keep the rascals sane and happy.
I have been following this sad story.
I deal with many ladies like that (horse people, yep)
For some it is a commodity, a standing, a way to get attention.
I can deal with human, I don't do humans any more. I am there for their horses.
They some times are unhappy when I tell them to sell the horse and get an other one because they are over horsed. I get to train the poor horse, then they think the horse is FIXED. No it is not, I deal with it better.
I just steped on by selffish me and call a friend trainner to help me with my young stud. Me calling out for help!!! I am still alive and doing better with my boy.
Sometimes IT IS HARD TO NOT GET INVOLVED for me but I can't save every one, use to try. I got hurt in the process.
