hmmm...
Brent Im not sure you should be repeating the command.
Technically no should be your correction
sounds to me like he's blowing you off on the first command because he knows that you're going to give him another chance to comply.
he's hearing
come
then probably thinking
Nah, I can wait for the second one after the no.
If he's on a long line you can work much better on this because if he blows off the first command you say no, then reel him in.
so command first
doesn't listen
correction (no)
then reel him in and praise when he gets there.
For the commands that i have to correct the dog to get him to do I don't over do the praise. The times that he comes without a correction get the most reward.
Brent i just wanted to say that no one here is bashing you.
and it is hard to judge stuff online off of descriptions and video.
we're just trying to give you a few ideas on how to remedy the problems.
I just read through all the post again and i need to apologize for my statement that i thought people were bashing me.... there were a few comments that rubbed me the wrong way but all and all i know people were trying to help and offered some great advice. So im sorry about that comment i really do appreciate the advice and look forward to more i dont want to burn any bridges. Im probably not the best at taking constructive critisim sometimes. I think somethings get lost in translation or taken wrong online aswell again im very sorry and thank you all for your help.
