Well guys, you have simply made my day. What a hoot you all are.
First, I want to say that just VanCamps AVITAR makes me shiver, and not in that good kinda way... creeps me out and scares me. I really, really, really don't ever want to make the guy mad, and I don't even know him. Holy cow... if WE are anal, I can't even begin to imagine how he'd be described... not sure there is a body part hideous enough!! LOL! (Someone warn me if he signs back on anytime soon, okay??)
Bobb (does that have two or three B's??) I just gave you five stars since you were so kind to give me a standing ovation, even if Michael (he/she) DID have to lend support. But, alas, it didn't budge your current number of stars. Whadda ya' say folks... poor Bobb is getting old and we have no idea how much longer the ol' geezer will be with us.... I mean REALLY... losing stars for sending other men x's and o's (surrrre... we know it was in jest) just doesn't seem fair!
Michael Wise, you know you qwack me up. XOXOXOXO. (My stars better not dissapear... I'm feeling kinda' fragile right now.)
Honestly, I wasn't mad when I wrote that this AM. I found it incredulous more than anything else and simply sat down to say so. Blood pressure was completely normal and I've had a great day with a song in my heart allll day long. (I HAVE lost 38 pounds as we speak and am feeling pretty darn hot, so it is going to take more than being called anal to knock me off this rocker!!
Anne, it really is me. I'm here. Maybe the horrendous heat index brought out the "Ralph" in me this morning... (my dad).
This thread cracks me up. I second the comment that if people think it is hard core now they should have been here four or five years ago. Honestly I have just pretty much stopped posting on many subject because I lack the patience and tolerance of many of the good folks who give sound advice on this site. My motto these days is that I will try being nicer if you try to not be so ignorant ;-)
Yes, it did used to get pretty 'hard core', back when. NO ONE was safe! If you posted....you stuck your head up & were a target.
I know it took me 2 years of lurking before I dared to sign up & actually post. Scarey stuff back them. To say that the folks here today are tough...is a joke in comparison.
BUT...you know we LEARNED ALOT of valuable imformation that would otherwise most likey not come our way. At least not all in one place for sure. It was worth the 'lumps' to learn what we did from some of the best out there.
I, for one, am very grateful to have had the resources that the people here brought to the table, just for the asking.
BTW...the notorious Mr.VanCamp did post here in the last couple of months.
Now Ralph...play nice with the folks here. The heat index here today was 100.

Ingrid put into words my thoughts and the general reason that I post so rarely nowadays ( but I'm still an active moderator )
