Just got to say - this thread is awesome!!! (so is the other one)
I started to reply to the cattle dog thread last night and stopped myself. then when I saw this gem added on this morning I was like "you've got to be kidding me"
It would be nice if you resized you dog's OVERSIZED picture to a more acceptable size, like everyone else has. Bigger doesn't mean better.
Nick, I thought that you had stated, quite a while back, that you would be going to your 'club' members, for all your future information. What happened? Did they get fed up with your nonsense, too?!
I will NOT comment .... I will NOT comment... I will NOT comment...
FYI, I was kicked out of Catholic School in 3rd grade... for comments related to relative sizes of things.... rulers, yeah, it was rulers...

In 3rd grade??? You have GOT to elaborate on that one Kel... from one fellow-fallen away Cathlic' to another. And Bobb! He too was warped by the nuns and their evil knuckle-crackin' rulers! (My brothers had me convinced the reason they wore the long, black habit was to hide the chains around the ankles which prevented them from running away... heheheheeee).

Now calm down everyone. I think everyone needs to make sure they are wearing their big girl (or boy) panties.
If any newbies are going to be foolish enough to open that link of Michael's, I'd suggest Depends. Big boy and girl panties simply won't contain all that could potentially be lost... jus' saying.
Debbie, we removed a 6' black snake out of the chicken coop the other day... sucker had just swalled his THIRD egg! Since he had been politely removed a few days prior and put back in the woods, this time he was put in a bucket and driven several miles away from home. I keep expecting to see a 6' long black snake with road rash on his belly, eating eggs in my coop, any day now.
DEPENDS folks, trust me here. Extra absorbent. Don't say you weren't warned.
You guys don't scare away all the newbies or crazies. Some of us just quietly slink into our corner and lurk after they have posted one too many stupid questions or comments (look for one to follow from me soon) Anyone who can't get past the fact that you are posting through the humans to help the dogs is a little too self obsorbed to appreciate all the time you guys put in here. Thanks for all your patience with the silly, ubsurd, simple questions some of us ask sometimes
It's not so much the type of question as it is the lack of follow thru when the appropriate advise is given to help correct the problem. Then posting again & again with the same questions because the original advice was not followed & now the problem has compounded & created further issues. That's when even the most patient of us (of which I am not always one & freely admit that) get frustrated & start to get not-so-nice about things.
It can be very draining to give the same informaetion over & over again to new posters...but we do it 'for the dog'. That is the sole purpose most of us are here, to freely share the knowledge that we have gained thru the years of trail & error & good information handed down to us by others with greater experience then we have.
