Here he is guys! My hands are still shaking, I thought for sure we would be turned away becaus they wanted a GSD home for him and they had already turned away many, many people who had applied for him. But they didn't! (It was the marker training that really helped, actually!) He is fabulous! He laid at my feet and was very calm today- until he saw the ball He won't carry it around, but would roll it towards my daughter asking her to play. Toys aren't fun unless people are on the other end. She obliged by rolling it for him since he's not supposed to run after his surgery. He's fairly indifferent towards kids from what I saw today. Hardly seking attention from them, but not turning down a scratch on the shoulder either. We shall see how the next few weeks go when he unwinds a little. He is pretty scared in there right now. He's wearing a pink diaper, he's at a terrible angle, but he's mine <3
Let the marker training begin!! Video! Lots and lots of Video!!
Yep It's 2 AM and I am happy dancing, baking brownies and watching videos while packing my kids for camp.
2 hours before getting Diablo, I aquired 3 horses bound for auction and more than likely with their body condition bound for Mexico slaughter. I am having a good animal week Husband must have REALLY liked his pampering because Mr. Sensibility transformed into Mr. Give-into-the-Wife
Not yet Jamie. I will visit them mid-week and grab some "before" pics. They are about 180 miles away, but we will pick them up next Saturday. They have an 80 yr old owner in poor health who was devistated when he thought he'd have to take them to the sale barn. My mom met him at a garage sale and they got to chatting...The rest is pony history They were scheduled to go today.
ETA: 2 really are ponies too! (Mini Horses to be exact. So darn cute!)
