Nick if anyone around here is NUTS it's you. All anyone has to do is read your posts to determin that.
I seriouly doubt that someone like Konnie Hein,( who I am sure that you are refering to) & the only mal breeder that I personally know & who is a good friend of mine & has been for 5+ years, would say something like that, about someone that is a friend of her's.
Figures, lol I put him on ignore right after he posted that he got rid of a great dog except it had long hair. Like there's so many great dogs out there

Hey Nick, why do I get the idea that you are reading this thread just a giggling away?
The pound, really?
If you decide to go that route, be a man for the first time in your life and bring him to the vet to have him euthanized. Hold him, and tell him it's not his fault as the poison slips into his blood stream. Tell him that it wasn't him that failed, that it was no one but you.
Surely you are a big enough man to do that aren't you? Or is easier just to let him sit abandoned and alone until he is killed?
I'm really thinking you escaped from Bizarro World or somewhere.

No argument.
I'm going to close this for now and talk about the thread with other mods/admin.
I think that a trusted member here was going to try to work something out, and my heart is so with her ...... and with Gambit ......
I hope as hard as I can hope that the O.P. listens to what Al said about not having the skills or the situation for a PPD.
QUOTE from Al's post:
Nick,
You should think long and hard about getting another dog just yet. The "problems" you posted about just a few months ago are so basic that to own a "protection trained" dog now will be a nightmare for the dog and your family.
I think most people interested in dogs should learn by doing, make the mistakes and learn from them, I truly believe you cannot do this. I believe you have a warped sense of what a dog should be and what a protection dog should act like. Defense work on a 11 month old is kind of retarded but more likely you don't know what the term means and what defense work looks like.
Anne Jones: I know you talked to a HIGHLY respected malinois breeder on this forum about me on the phone. She later told me she thought you were.. Ready for this? NUTS!
So your new dog is coming from the highly respected breeder?.......NOT! Cause that would make her NUTS! Grow up please!
Gambit deserves a better home, in that I agree with you. And I do hope one of these homes pans out for him. Please contact me if you choose the gutless pound option I'm in MA but can maybe help with rescue contacts.
I doubt you will listen to anyone but since Gambit was a money-pit cause you spent $2500 on him in a year.....how much do you think a dog that "does the work" will cost to keep?
Heck my dog's job is loyal companion; and I'm sure his costs exceed $2500 a year. Does anyone want to offer what you spend to provide for your high drive working dog a year?
