"Roll the ball" is my fallback (along with "which cup is the treat under") when one of my dogs needs a very quiet distraction activity. Just getting outdoors and moving a bit and having a little fun can help some with lethargy and inappetence, IME.
".... her breath stinks bad lately, which made me think kidneys, but lab work says other wise."
Does it smell ammonia-ish? Fruity? Or just foul?
Are you seeing any yellowish tinge of the eye-whites?
Do you recall if the breath was different when she was eating (yesterday)?
PS
I'd probably double-check that lepto is part of the path stuff.
Poor girl. I know that many fingers are crossed for her.
No fever, drinking normal, urine is dark, but they think is it due the pills they have her on. They also make her poop bright orange. As for her breath, it has gotten really bad this past week. It smells like death, it's horrible. We are going back today. We will see what he says.
No, nothing yet. He did say there was tiny white tumors on the liver though, but he does not know if that means anything as far as the dog. Thats why he suggested an exploratory surgery to see if he could find anything the x ray is missing. I hope we find something soon.
Betty: Nothing is showing up on the x rays, we have done them three times now, but, something is making her not want to eat and her stomach is bloated with gas. So...he wants to go in and see if there is something the x rays are not picking up.
