That's a really good idea Connie and I like Mara's approach too.
Instead of looking at it like hundreds of small print pages to read and where the heck am I going to find the time, maybe read sections that are of interest at the time.
It's too bad Fama's not the main character. You could probably slap any name on that book and I'd pick it up. But then again, I haven't started this one. Who knows, maybe it's a page turner.
On a side note, boys are all resting spread out in the computer room, one in the hallway. Rolled my chair back and selected the book off the shelf (hey at least now I know it's the green and yellow one) and lug it towards my desk. Well, you'd think Echo had never seen a book before (come to think of it, I don't think he has, not one of this size anyway). Up to his feet, ears forward, nostrils flaring. It’s okay buddy... "Touch", snort, snort, bump...Yes! Yummy stash treat. OMG that's bad.
And yes David, you're absolutely correct. Maybe we can negotiate for a few more Fama episodes.
