well thats my problem with this, sure he's a bit ichy but nothing i would even call exsessive.. he has a occational ( ones or twise a day) scratch or nibble on the bits he can reach but thats about it. ears are fine. I said this to the vet and she said basicly.. running allergy tests is VERY expensive so lets try this 1st ... some logic... he is insured after all...

I wanted to add that I'd want a referral to a derm vet long before I would consider intradermal testing. JMO.
I've done it (with more than one dog), and it's the gold standard for environmental allergen identification, but nothing here says atopy to me, unless I missed something major.
Also, you are feeding a good quality fish body oil for Omega 3's and Vit. E? His diet looks good, but just wanted to make sure you are giving this as a supplement.

no, but said they could be hiding in the hair folicals (if this doesnt work, they'll do "deep" skin sample + allergy tests)

havent given any suppliment yet he gets best part of 500g of fish every week tho. after this started i have ordered some salmon oil, probatics to add to his feed. will start to add them soon. atm he's getting used to apple cider vinegair with mother. so next week its oil. As far as vitamin E is, he gets spinach every day as part of his veg portion.

thanks, i can only start with the Aludex treatment 3rd of Aug because i need to have 2 week break between Advocate and Aludex .. I will keep you guys posted but this seems to be something for the long run. He's not in any discomfort bless - lucky really
