If I were in charge (Lord help us) of the SS presidential security K9 teams I would take seasoned dogs with plenty of real apprehensions from the returning K9 pool of military dogs and pair the SS handlers with some "real" hairy chainsaws. Now, before anyone cries about taking a dog from one handler and giving it to another...it's done in the military all the time. Yea it sucks to lose/trade your dog but the greater good is the big picture. Using "green" dogs at the White House is not good business as is already seen.

'Bout time good ole Simon was called on all his BS rantings.
Dogs....My first thought on the SS dog video .....was dogs with limited or no previous REAL street work. To that I have to say: shame on the SS...they should do better. But the end result was the criminal was taken down. But it made the SS look bad...that should not be allowed to happen.

Bingo. The real center of the matter is right there.
Some people(of ALL political persuasions) in our country live in a fantasy world where violence and lethal force are never needed. They genuinely believe that if we just all sat down and talked our problems out that we could accomplish world peace. Sheltered and naive.
It's our President and Commander in Chief. Screw what the media will say and protect him effectively.
