Creatine keeps being compared to totally unrelated things. It's effects probably are closer to vitamin C than anything mentioned above (stimulant, caffine, steroids). Now if you want to agrgue that vitamine C causes a dog to have temperment changes that would be about the same argument.
We're beating a dead horse here.
We'll agree to disagree. Eric you might like to take it for awhile and see how you feel.
Drinking 6 cokes a day does nothing to me and is very light in terms of caffenine. However I would not give that to a dog. Time will tell the results of it. That's in regards to the mental affects. The physical effects seem obvious. It's been rumored with other people as well, the link in the earlier posts described that.
I've stated numerous times that the drugs mentioned are not the same but the behavior can be. I don't believe this is just a little extra protein or athletes wouldn't have such dramatic results.
Anyone who is a supporter of Creatine I wish you good luck and hope it does not have the effect I've described on myself.
I agree definately beating a dead horse. I did try it six 3-4 months or so. Loading dose and all. Didn't really feal anything. I got a flue or bad cold each time I took it so I eventually stopped. Personally I didn't feel any more energy, hyper, agressive, anxiety or depression. Might have been able to get a couple of more reps following the super slow method with a personal trainer.
