No I have never personally titles a dog to ZVV/SVV. That will be this spring. I do have the rules for all the titles though. I also am familiar with their training. I am currently looking into bringing it to the US. I think that would be a boost to the Czech lines everywhere.
PS.
Jeanette,
I am not the pedigree guru, that would be Hanna-Lenna. Haven't seen her around for a while though.
From what I can tell they mainly look like Czech Show lines.

B-Oldo Utvaar ZNv-CS,SVV-1, B-Pamela Utvar ZNV-CS,SVV-1,A-Tawer Onyx Bohemia ZM,SVV-1,IPO 11-2, A-Cida Nealko SVV-1, Enny z Ortasa ZM,SVV-1, C-Karin Onyx Bohemia vyb,SVV-1, Xita z Hornich Plesu SVV-1, A-Aris Ortasa, Narcis Rhodopy SVV-1, A-Brain z. Episody
A-Tesi z Hornich Plesu SVV-1, A-Henny Onyx Bohemia SVV-1
These are all show line dogs, altho the Utvar ZNV is Government run program, they mostly use show line dogs. Is this from Roko z Mazurovho dvora's pedigree? I would say this pedigree is all show line dogs, they go back to Uran (Palme) Wildsteiger Land, Reza Haus Beck, Jalk Bachgautal Fax and Harro Trienzbachtal juts to name few.
Hei Todd, I am still here;-) just busy.

Hanna, Your knowledge of czech lines is just astounding. We missed your post. If I wanted a GSD it would definately be czech lines and I would hire you for selecting my dog.

Yes Hanna, all of the dogs I put down are from Roko's pedigree. He is my 2 yo's sire. And in the pedigree way back are all of those German dogs that you mentioned.....Wow, I can't thank you enough for the info because I was told that my dog was coming from 100% working bloodlines when I purchased her!! I since came to find out that her dam's side is mixed show and working, but now her father too!
I didn't realize that czech lines also include show. I guess I had mistakenly gotten the idea that the czech lines were purely working dogs...SO thank you so very much for the eye opener!!!!

Is this a concern for Czech working dogs:

I hope I never see a Czech/American Showdog. That would be a waste.
Breeders please keep the Working line and Show line seperated.

Actually, the Czech/Slovak breeders are known for being masters at getting good combinations from work/showline crossings, from what I'm told. This is going to sound odd from me, but sometimes the show x work cross actually works when a knowledgeable breeder makes the right choices.

I have been advised that the Czeck lines have a genetic propensity towards dog aggression, is this accurate or only partly so that it can be found in a particular bloodline?

I can only say that my bitch( Czech-German x ) can be dog dominant at times , but not truly aggressive unless she is attacked( this has happened and she doesn't back down!).Her German mother , however , was very dog aggressive.
Also, I think my poor dog has terrible conformation...she is so like her mother ....Roko, her sire, seemed to have great conformation.I really like the look of the Czech dog and was hoping that she wouold be more like her father, but oh well, I still love her
My next purchase will most likely be a czech dog.I am really leaning towards them from what I have been seeing. How could I find a breeder close to my area(NY,HUdson Valley area) that has good quality working dogs.I won't be getting another dog for a few years at this point anyway, so I have time to learn much more.

He is truly what you would term the alpha male (of the four leggeds), but doesn't even consider challenging me for rank.

I have not seen any dog agression in my Czech dogs either. Now my two Otis daughters, they have enough dog aggression to go around.
