I know someone (the GSD "breeder" (and I use the term LOOSELY in regards to this woman) I got taken for a $3850 ride with) that sells GSD/Rott mixes (sold as purebred AKC reg'd GSD's) for $3500. LOL You really should look at your local shelters, in all honesty. If you wait long enough, there will be a cross bred dog that suits you. It seems to me that you may think that breeding two AKC reg'd dogs may produce something valuable. This is not so. You cannot legally AKC register pups from two different types of dogs (GSDxRottweiler). The dogs would be mutts. Although there is nothing inherently WRONG with mutts, per se, there are enough of them without homes already. Why add to the problem, when you can go rescue one and be part of the solution? Just my opinion! Hope this helps or clarifies some. Melanie
