Great that you are going to test for hips and elbows, but what about HEART? SAS is rampant in Rotts. Also Rotties have a tendency to develop punctate cataracts, so I'd CERF if I were you. Hypothyrodism is also a biggie. It'a a pity that our breed has a propensity for so many problems. A very sad state of affairs.

If you have a vailid point and feel like you have been un-fairly slammed then fine. Otherwise whining about it does nothing. Most of us have been taken to task over something at one time or another. This ain't no fluffy lovie dovey site....people say how they feel about dog training issues. MOST of the people on this board(senior members and moderators) who have strong opinions(which many are based on fact) know what the hell they are talking about. As long as personal attacks aren't involved....don't be too sensitive. Life is too short.
