Sounds good but I would bet that when the AKC starts expanding this program to other breed clubs and judges start rolling in the quality drops significantly.
Quote:
So far, the judges used at the WDA events have been SV judges, or judges approved by the SV.
If they stick with that, at least until AKC gets knowledgeable judges (read: approved by the FCI-VDH-SV), then I don't see much of a problem.
The hitch is that the knowledgeable and skilled people will have to step up to make it work.
Actually most were dogs that been competing in the WDA, so almost all of them were imports. I have only seen a few American breed dogs compete at that level yet.

What is being done in regards to having an equivalent to the BH? Will there be a requirement before someone can compete for a WDS title? Anything that will mimic the traffic portion? Just curious. I couldn't find anything about it in any of the articles I've read.
The info is from the latest regulations I have. Not sure how the AKC will get around the copyright infringement but the TT for the ATTS stands for temperament tested, the TT for AKC stands for temperament test. Maybe they will end up putting periods after each letter...who knows. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
