Is there a link to the list??? Does it include NY Vets?? I am quite sick of my vet and their assumption that I don't want any information (or am not educated enough) to understand the procedures and tests being administered??
Just looking for other well qualifed and/or recommended VETS in NY

She is a holistic vet who agrees with raw feeding and minimal vaccinations. I have only had two apts. but so far I love working with her.I started going to her because my 15 month GSD was having chronic diarrhea,dry itchy skin,and not gaining weight.We started him on herbal meds and I started feeding raw food. Within a month he stopped his diarrhea and gained over 6lbs. His coat looks great!
the guys are pretty good. They supported and encouraged my decision to feed raw. My vet said, "anything would be better than that junk kibble that is killing so many dogs".
It is a big vet hospital and I have not met every vet but most seem fairly competent.

I am a firm believer that I pay the vet and therefor pay for their advice and service. In other words I tell them what to do, not the other way around.
My vet is a conventional vet. He does not promote the raw diet, but he is not against it either. When I told him about my decision to put my dog on a raw diet, he offered to look through the diet plan and offered advice on supplements.
He does promote yearly vaccinations, but he respected my decision to run blood titer instead. Great personality and very caring.
He is in the southern tip of Dallas county.
