Susan, they're definitely using the best quality meats around - the price makes sense
As far as convenience, I actually enjoy shopping around for my dogs' meats and bones. That's how I found all my free sources for fresh game meats, by shopping around and talking to people.
I get so excited at the supermarket, meat packers, or butcher stores when I find great deals and variety. You should've seen me when I was offered a huge box full of free moose meats; I was dancing around for days after that! Yes, I'm weird that way
Besides, the meat wholesale where I pick up the bulk of my dog food is a 5-minute drive from my home. Super cheap fresh meat and very convenient.
The meat may not be the top of the line all organic, but it's what I can afford... oh well, my dogs don't seem to mind
Don't you guys have tons of Chinese market out in the South of Cal?
we have bunch here!
I just gave them feet today and they were gone so fast I thought "geez, cant you guys take your time?"
I also throw beef ribs, i can find so many Beef ribs on sale and cheap. I'll throw one to them as a treat, i pick up the bone when they are done, but they are slower at eating the ribd then the feet that's for sure.So you ever use Beef ribs Susan?

Not too many Asian groceries in my part of town, and the ones I tried didn't have any feet. I did have luck at a Latin American grocery. Yes, my pup loves ribs too, I haven't really found anything he doesn't like!
I have looked at that web site for rabbit meat but it was so expensive! I have 4 dogs on raw ,so I look for bargains.
Rabbit pieces w/bones were $2.67 LB, I think I can find it cheaper at a store here.

Besides feeding a variety of foods each day, I have a question on
the rabbit your dog ate in the vid.
Was that rabbit his daily meal? Or is one rabbit that size good for
a few days? I mean, do you feed one rabbit like that per day, or
was it filling enough (nourishment and all) for a few days?
Since I'm in the process of obtaining rabbits to hand-raise myself,
as a source of my staple RAW diet (with supplements and variety of
course throughout the week), I want to know how many rabbits I
need to feed per week
A rabbit is no different than any other meat in terms of how much to feed.
My pup (11 months old and 95 lbs.) gets approximately 2 lbs. of meat a day, sometimes more if he's exercised a lot that day. That rabbit was roughly around 1.5 lbs., so it was a good sized meal. My pup got that for breakfast but I also gave him about a pound of meat for dinner later that day.
That rabbit was a baby. My adult rabbits usually reach 2-3 lbs. so one of those would've been enough food for one day. However the rabbits take almost a year to reach their adult size, so it's too much of a hassle for me to wait that long (cost of food and bedding, time spent cleaning cages, refilling bottles, exercising them etc.)
In my case, I use whole rabbits to supplement my dogs' diet with fresh prey - it's certainly not a staple. They might get one or two a week if they're lucky (during the spring and summer when the bunnies are easier to raise) yet they'll get maybe one rabbit every two weeks during the winter.
I don't have the facilities to mass-produce rabbits... yet
If I did feed whole rabbit as the "main dish" every day, I'd probably need anywhere from 15-20 of those baby rabbits a week to feed both my shepherds
